Question: Period stopped!.!.!.!.!?!?
I'm 16 and I started my period when I was 12, it was never irregular before but it's been 8 months since I've had my period now!.!.!.should I be worried!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

to be honest, it is probably you being underweight at the moment!. dont worry, just build up your eating habits slowly!.
as soon as you put on a few pounds your periods should come back!.
if you find it difficult to put weight on, go to your doc ans she should put you on some pills to encourage them to come back!. if you dont have a period for a long amount of time you can decrease your increases of fertilty!. so just go to a doc to make sure!.

I once had this problem though I did not wait so long for the period to happen!. I did not have it for 45 days and went to the doctor!. The doctor did a sonogram and found that I had a cyst on my ovary and gave me an injection and some pills!. The period started within 10 days and the cyst vanished in a couple of months!. So, its probably nothing to worry about but please visit a doctor to confirm!.

There are loads of possible reasons for this!.
I wouldn't worry but go to the Doctor just to put your mind at ease, it is always better to know!. You will probably just be put on the pill to bring it on!. Priods are annoyng but it's healthier to have them then not!. Going for years without a period increases the chances of getting osteoporosis!.
