Answers:
they work a lot better especially for gymnastics! just put it in until your fingers touch your body, and once theyre in and get blood on them, they expand!. put one in a glass of water if you wanna see how big they get, adn man can they hold a lot! lol it was real heavy when it ook it out of the water lol (my friend wanted to see so i showed her that way)!.

EDIT: also, usually itll automatically stop once its gotten to a certain point and wont go in any farther (usually) but yeah, just do it til your fingers touch your body!. and sometimes its still not in far enough so ill push a little more jsut to make sure, the farther in it is the more comfortable it feels, and once its in you cant feel it!. the string is long too so dont worry about not being able to pull it outWww@Answer-Health@Com

The keys to successful tampon insertion are relaxation and practice!.

Inserting tampons does take a bit of practice!. The first thing to do is get to know your body!. It is easier to insert a tampon if you can see where it is going!. To do this you will need a mirror and a chair (or the edge of the toilet)!. Put one leg up on the chair/toilet, and balance on your other leg!. Pop the mirror between your legs and have a peek!. Find your labia (the lips or folds of skin, which cover the entrance to your urinary opening and your vagina!.) When you have done that gently open your labia with your finger and find the entrance to your vagina!. That is where you will be putting your tampon!.

Only insert a tampon WHEN you have your period!. If you try at other times your vagina will be drier making it very hard to insert a tampon!. Added to this removing a dry tampon from a dry vagina can be hard!. When you have your period your vagina is slick and the tampon slides in much more easily!.

With clean hands unwrap your tampon Place a small amount of KY jelly on the tip of the tampon!. This will make it easier to insert!. You can buy KY Jelly in the health section of the supermarket!.

You need to relax your pelvic floor, as a tight vagina will resist the tampon!. To get an idea of what a relaxed pelvic floor feels like the next time you need to pass urine start the stream and then stop it for a couple of seconds!. To stop the stream you have automatically tightened your pelvic floor!. Then let the stream go and finish your urine!.!.!.that sensation is a relaxed pelvic floor!.

Ready!?

Relax your pelvic floor by taking a deep breath, then blow it out!. As you let your breath go, let your pelvic floor relax!. Lean forward with one leg on the chair/toilet!. Hold the tampon at the cord end and slant it at a 45-degree angle!. Find the entrance of your vagina and gently rotate the tampon through the entrance of the vagina!.

Insert the tampon to the full length of your finger and leave the cord outside your body!.

If you feel any pressure or discomfort then the tampon hasn't been inserted far enough into the vagina!. Once you've put a tampon in a few times it will become easier and easier!. Like anything, you just need a bit of practice!.

A tampon needs to be in about THREE TO FOUR hours before you take it out otherwise it won't have absorbed enough blood, and will be dry and difficult to remove!. But you can help push your tampon out using your vagina!. When you pull gently on the string, bear down as if you were having a bowel motion, focus on your vagina and push down with it as well!. Let your body work with you!. Once again, if your vagina is tense and tight you won't get anything in or out of it!. The key to tampons is RELAXATION!.

Please use pads at night!. (Refer to FAQ on Toxic Shock Syndrome ) Tampons should not be in your vagina longer than eight hours!. Libra Goodnight Ultrathin's are great and provide excellent protection!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, the first time using a tampon can be pretty difficult!. If you're not careful, it could even hurt!. It's always best to start off with the smaller tampons, also known as "regular"!. If you get Tampax tampons, "regular" will be the ones that come in a yellow box/yellow wrappers!.

Tampons can leak if you leave them in too long!. The instructions will tell you to change them every 4 to 8 hours, but this doesn't necessarily mean to wait that long!. When you first start out on your period, your flow tends to be lighter, which means that a tampon will last longer for you and might make it to the 4 to 8 hour mark, but don't depend on it!. Get to know your flow, start out using tampons with a pad and pay attention to the amount of time that passes before changing your tampon!. Check the tampon to see how much it has absorbed in that time frame - this will give you a general idea of how long it will last for!. Personally, I change my tampon every time I go the bathroom, even if my flow is light (if urine gets on the string, it can increase the amount of bacteria around your vagina and create an infection)!.

Most tampon applicators have little grooves on them for you to put your fingers on!. Holding the tampon on those grooves, you insert the tampon until your fingers touch your body, and then you push the tampon in with the top of the applicator!. If there are no grooves, then generally you hold near the top of the bottom part of the applicator!.

Remember, if it hurts when you try to insert it, remove it and try again with a fresh tampon!. You shouldn't feel any discomfort or pain!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
