Okay!. I am due to start my very second period the day/days me and my family go for a beach vacation!.
I really don't want to use tampons, and no matter what I won't!.
How should I go swimming!? Or should I just not at all!?

Since you just started getting your period, you may not even get it!. Irregular periods are common in girls who are just beginning to menstruate!. It may take the body a while to sort out all the changes going on, so a girl may have a 28-day cycle for 2 months, then miss a month, for example!. Usually, after a year or two, the menstrual cycle will become more regular even though some women continue to have irregular periods into adulthood!.
As you get older, periods settle down!. You will get more used to your own unique cycle!. You will then find that you can predict when it will come!. It's a good idea to keep track of your menstrual cycle with a calendar!.
If you do get it, unfortunately you shouldn't go swimming unless you use a tampon!. I know and understand you are scared and nervous to use one!. Once you start using one and you get use to it, it will be a piece of cake!.

This is a toughie!. I would have suggested wearing a tampon instead of a pad but you wont!. So, the only other suggestion is to not go swimming!. Could you maybe!.!.wear a tampon only before you know your going to go swimming and when your done you can use a pad instead!? You never know, you may wonder what you did without tampons! If you are on the pill, start your new pack during the week in which you should be taking your placebo!. Then you can skip a period!. Otherwise, if your light enough go swimming but make sure you have something as soon as you get out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well if your period is light enough go swimming without anything!.!.!. then quickly get out of the water and find a bathroom to put a pad on!.!.!. thats what i did, and it worked good, but got annoying so i switched to tampons!.!. there much easier!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you don't use a tampon you can't go swimming!.Sorry hun!.I know how you feel it totally sucks when stuff like that happens!.Try the smallest tampons maybe if you're younger!?Just try them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
