Because a lot of tween/teens watch the movie, and parents would not like it if it was advertising killing your unborn baby!. It's also showing the after math of having sex that young/ in that way!. If she took the pill it would be like saying, " go off and have unprotected sex, All you have to do is take one pill and your ok"!.
