Question: Does it bother you when men answer questions in this section!?
Doesn't it bother you slightly when men try to answer questions about women's health issues, particularly menstruation!? I think this is one of those topics that is best left to the ladies who deal with the 35 years of monthly inconvenience, don't you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unless the man is an ob/gyn he is just guessing at these questions!. I think woman who deal with this most of their lives will have the best answers!. Sometimes even better than the docs!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm a man who answers questions here, and although I understand your sentiment, I think you're mistaken in thinking men know "nothing" about such stuff!.
I only speak up when I know what I'm talking about and can back up what I say, and I learn a hell of a lot from the women here as well by shutting my mouth and listening to *them* when I don't have any helpful info of my own!.
Unless you're a health-care professional of some kind, I probably did more reading and learning about OB/Gyn nursing and surgery before I was five years old than you'll ever do in your lifetime!. (I'm quite serious: I was reading college nursing, botany, psychobiology and anthropology texts before I was four!.)
Add the 35 years I've spent as the boyfriend / husband / father of a few dozen women, most of whom were delightfully frank and open about their bodies and their health/sex issues!.!.!. and my present girlfriend has told me several times that I know more about her body and her health than she does - which I take as a hell of a compliment: she's a PhD biologist running women's-cancer research lab!.
Then think of the fact that unlike me, some of the men who answer *are* medical professionals of one sort or another!.
As I said, I appreciate your "bothered" thoughts, but maybe you oughta broaden them a bit to include the positive with the negative!.!.!. no!?

While I can speak volumes about a lot of things from research and experience both, I have never had a female body of my own to live in, and it would be absurd for me to respond to questions that involve *anything* subjective about women's direct experience!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't bother me if they know the answers!. There are some guys here who actually have pretty good knowledge of female issues and have had lots of girlfriends and are pretty educated about it all!. A question asking for personal experience, then that is better for the women!.
I don't like it when guys give silly or very wrong answers in here, but I don't like it when women give silly or wrong answers either and that happens more!.

strange as it may sound, the best gynecologists are male,
you would be surprised how much males know about woman's health problems, the reason being they are curious, and the best way to better knowledge is by experience, not just by reading books!.
most reference books are written on the bases of theory not on practice

No, it doesn't bother me!. I've seen some excellent answers from men in the womens health section!. Of course, there have been useless ones as well!.
Besides, women answer mens questions as well!.

No, I don't some men are very knowledgeable about women's health!. Also some who answer on this section maybe doctors or in school to become doctors!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
