Any experience with an IUD?!
Question: Any experience with an IUD!?
I have been on the pill for about a year, but i am concerned that in the future it may be hard to get pregnant!. I have been reading a lot about IUD's!. It seems to be a good choice!. Have you had one!? What was your experience!? Also i am only thinking about the one that does not contain hormones!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

well!.!. i do have one, but the one i have is the mirena which does have a low amount of hormones!. it's pretty darn good, no comlaints, lol, at first there was spotting every once in a while for the first few months, but now, its good, my periods are very light and only like 2 days!.and no ide effects no weight gain, nothin like that!. I have only had mine in for a couple months, but so far im like it!. And my doctor told me that just a few months after getting it takein out, pregnancy can happen, so i think all and all it's a good smart choice!. Now, the copper one (without hormones) is a whole other story!. I know a few people with this, and a couple of then got it taken out, They said they had heavy heavy bleeding and really bad cramps!. Now it does last longer 10 yrs vs!. mirena which is 5!. So just talk to your doctor and see what u think, but if you get it, i bet you'll be glad yo u did! The pill has an immediate reversal of fertility!. But if you are planning for quite awhile before you want to get pregnant, an iud is an ok choice!. But make sure you do want long term!. The iud is pretty expensive ($500-800)!. But over 5-10 years it is very cost effective!. The copper iud with no hormones can cause ALOT of irregular and excessive bleeding!. The hormonal iud can cut normal periods fron 20-100% in most women!. But it only lasts for 5 years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
