Answers:
It does sound like a Yeast Infection!. Just tell your mom that you are having some problems, and you think it may be a Yeast Infection!. Ask her to help you with getting something OTC or getting to the dr!. I don't think your mom would think that you were sexually active, because Yeast Infection's are pretty common and you can get them even if you aren't sexually active!. Don't be embarassed to ask your mom, because it's a normal thing and she has probably gone through it too!. And if you go to a dr, if you feel uncomfortable, you can ask your mom to be there in the room with you!.

I wouldn't wait too long to talk to your mom, because otherwise it won't get any better, and you don't want it to get worse!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

This maybe a yeast infection, but it also maybe an allergic reaction to something!. You say it is red, sore and itchy, and it gets warm!. You might be scratching at it and this will not help you any!.
Every body has yeast with in it, natural, you need to just tell your mom- No biggie, she will take you to the doctor and you will get something for it and it will go away, but make sure that if you take an antibiotic you let the doctor know that you will need something to take care of the yeast infection which you might get from the antibiotic!. Good Luck to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Should I call my doctor if I think I have a yeast infection!?

Yes, you need to see your doctor to know for sure if you have a yeast infection, especially if you've never had one before!. The signs of a yeast infection are similar to those of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) like chlamydia and gonorrhea!. So, it's hard to be sure you have a yeast infection and not something more serious!.

If you've had vaginal yeast infections in the past, talk to your doctor about using over-the-counter medicines!.

Your doctor will do a pelvic exam to look for swelling and discharge!. She may also use a swab to take a sample from the vagina!. A quick look under the microscope or a lab test will show if yeast is causing the problem!.
