Please help.. period stuff.?!

Question: Please help!.!. period stuff!.!?
so, a couple of days back, i got my period!. ive been having them for around 2 years now and im still not regular!. Is this the norm!?
And, my mom bought me some super plus heavy flow 12-15g tampons and so i used one!. but when i went to the loo 2 hours later, the blood was leaking out from the tampon!. so i took it out and looked, and it was totally full of blood! Like, literally couldnt absorb any more! What do i do!?
I dislike wearing pads for too long as they irritate the hell outta me! and i also have less pain when i use tampons!. does anyone else get this!?
This is only like the 5th time using tampons as well!.
Any help is muchhh appreciated!.
thanks :)

Well, a period can be irregular for the first few years!. But if it's always been very heavy like you say, your mom should take you to the Gyno!. Have her check you out!. They should put you on some birth control to control your hormones!. You probably have a hormone imbalance!. And don't freak, it's to regulate your hormones and cause lighter periods!. Also, DO NOT wear Super absorbent tampons!. You can get an infection, or even worse, Toxic Shock Syndrome!. That will seriously screw you over!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had this same problem for years and the only thing that the gyno has ever done for me is put me on birth control to make it regular but it has never helped with the heaviness!. I learned from a nurse that if you take Naproxen (Aleve) 3-5 times a day during your period that it helps lighten the flow!. I keep Naproxen in my purse, desk and everywhere now so I don't forget because it has really worked for me!. If you skip a dose of the Naproxen you'll notice the difference right away!. Hope this helps!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

mine is extremely heavy i have had my period for 4 years now and its still not regular i wear 2 pads and it still leaks lol but if you change yours every hour it will work it works for me k hope this helpedWww@Answer-Health@Com

You should change quite often & use the lowest flow possible to avoid Toxic Shock Syndrome!. Read the pamphlet that comes with them for more details!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe you are just haveing it reli heavy but i think ur best bet is to talk to ur mom:)Www@Answer-Health@Com
