i just read a question on here, and they feel your boobs at the gynocologist, i have a creepy old man doctoc, do i have to , is it nessacary, if they're checking for lumps couldnt i get a mammogram!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it is necessary unfortunately, but your doc touches boobs all day, yours are no different than any one elses he sees, it wont excite him or anything!. A mammogram is really painful, the machine pushes your breast as flat as it can get it before it does the scan!. That's why you don't get them till you are over 40 and your breasts are no longer firm!. Its only once a year though you just kind of have to grin and bear it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
mammogram is not recommended for women under 35 years of age due to the fact that the beast tissue is so dense it makes reading the films very difficult and does not really have any benefit!. If you are uncomfortable with your GYN doing this, change to a female Dr or someone else you feel comfortable with!. Yearly exams are something you will have to deal with for a lifetime, finding a Dr you are comfortable with is very important!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah, it is kinda weird at first but they insist on doing it!. Also Doctors won't give mammograms to younger patients!.
