Make sure you're using the lowest absorbancy tampon, so it doesn't dry you out, which can make things uncomfortable!.

Also, some companies to a 'slim' version, which might be better for you, as they are designed for younger women!.

I know you said you can't push it in any further, but it does sound like it might not be in far enough!. When a tampon in in place, you should not really be able to feel it!. If it i too low, it will rub against the opening portion of the vagina, where there are more nerves, and you will feel discomfort!.

You may be putting in it at sightly the wrong angle, so experiment, especially with pointing it towards your lower back!.

Put a tiny bit of lube (such as KY or Vasaline) on the tampon before you put it in, and it might go in more easily and more comfortably!.

Try different brands, there really are noticeable differences! When I was first a poor student, I thought I could save money on cheaper tampons, but they felt really uncomfortable!

If you continue having the problem, maybe seea doctor or practise nurse!. They could even show you how to put one in, if you wanted!. Embarassing, yes, but do it once and it might solve your problem!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It probably stings because it is a dry wad of cotton being pushed in to a sensitive part of your body!. Or it could be a different health issue!. Either way, you could try switching to organic tampons that have less chemicals, or you could use KY jelly to lubricate the tampon a little!. They even have this product called a menstrual cup: www!.divacup!.com

I probably stings because your boyfriend has his hands in your pants!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
