i want to start using tampons and i'm a virgin!.

Im not sure what the ' scientific ' term for this is,
But I had the same problem too!.
This ' wall ' is actually a thin layer of skin blocking the way!.
You just have to keep moving the tampon around and eventually you will find the opening!. (Small hole in the middle of the thin layer of skin)!.
You'll be able to tell when you've made it past 'the wall' and then all youu have to do is launch it in there, and your done ! :)

It hurts for two reasons, you either have it in wrong or its too big!. If its in wrong you can stick your finger up there and try to push it around until it feels better!. As for the size try the regular or slender sizes!.

If you use the small tampons it shouldn't hurt, try putting a little lubricant on the end of the tampon and try lying down when you put the tampon in, it should be all the way in, no part of the tampon should be sticking out of the vagina!. good luck AprilWww@Answer-Health@Com
Since you are a virgin it may be wise to put your finger in your vagina a few times first to make sure the hymen is broken!. I know it sounds gross but it really isn't!. Use the small sizes and make sure you insert the tampon as far back as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You might be putting it in the wrong hole!. Its hard to find haha and iff it hurts or is uncomfy its not in right!. So its at the back of like the folds i guess haha!. When ur taking a shower or bath use your fingers and feel for it!.hope i helped!.xoxoWww@Answer-Health@Com
Use a smaller sized tampon!. If it is tight/dry feeling chances are your flow isn't heavy enough to use that size!.
