Okay so i got up this morning
i went to the bathroom, and i notched, its not red, but its a light Brown, with dark around it, it was 1 big spot them medium spots around it!.
was that my period
also, how long should it take for new spots to appear!.

im 13 to and i got my first one like 3 months ago and i woke up and saw the same thing and was like, watev is just brown discharge!.
but i kinda knew it was my period but i just didnt wanna go through the hassel of tellin my mom!.
anyways
you should probably wear pads then when ur ready wear tampons

Yes it was probably the start of your period!. Just wear a pad for the next week and start taking notes on how your period is!. Remember today is the first day you got yours and keep track of how long it will last, (2-7 days), in the beginning your period will be weird, you may bleed lightly or heavier at times, it could last for a day this month, and next month last 5 days!. Just keep track of it so you know when to expect it next month!. It also may appear to be brown because it is the start of your period, as months go on it will become more red in color!.
