im really scared to use tampons because im afraid that they'll hurt really bad!. all my friends say im overreacting but i dont know!. so any advice!?!? and does it hurt using tampons!?

It can be scary the first time you use a tampon but the fact that you've got an applicator tampon will make it easier!. What you need to do it insert the applicator with the tampon inside it into your vagina!. It doesn't have to go in too far, maybe an inch or less and then you push the applicator end so that the tampon comes 'out' inside your vagina!.
One thing to be aware of is that if you can feel the tampon once you've taken the applicator out then it may not be high enough inside and it will be uncomfortable!.
If you're nervous it might be harder so try to relax and if you need to, use some lube or vasaline to help ease it into you!.
Take care, I hope it works out for you and remember to take it out after between 4 and 6 hours! Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will be uncomfortable inserting it the first time as your body is not used to anything being there!. With time, you'll completely forget that it's there!. You don't have to stick the applicator completely in, but make sure that you do it at least an inch or so!. There are nerves at the opening of your vagina, but not farther inside!. If you don't get it in far enough you'll be able to feel it!. That's quite annoying!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you just push the tampon in until your fingers touch your body!. then you push the little tube into the bigger one!. take the applicator off and thats it!
there should be directions in the tampon box that show diagrams & give thorough instructions!. & you shouldn't be scared! the first few times its an uncomfortable feeling putting it in but it shouldn't hurt & you shouldn't feel it at all once its in!. if you can, i would take it out & try again because you probably didn't put it in far enough!.

good luck & have fun at the water park! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know it can be scary at first!.!.but you'll get the hang of it!. I believe there is a tampon by Platex that is especially made for teens!. Its a "lite" tampon which is a little smaller!. Try Platex gentle glide plastic applicator!. You don't need to stick it up all the way to the top!. Just get it in a little and push the stick up, while holding onto the middle grip area!. Good luck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

the first time you put one in its uncomfortable!. all you have to do is put the applicator in until your fingers touch your body and push the smaller tube in but make sure you put it in at a 45 degree angle!.once you do that you shouldnt feel it at all,if you do feel it take it out and do it again!.to remove it make sure you relax your muscles and gentle pull it out!.good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Actually it doesn't hurt at all!. If you have trouble inserting it try using a mirror the first time!. Squatting helps for me, and follow the directions on the box!.
