Question: For girls who have had the gardasil needle!?
i might have to get the gardasil shot next year 3 times!. i HATE needles!. does it hurt alot!? cause i have heard it does by kids who have had it!. and the side effects seem really bad!. like not being able to move cuz of the pain!. does it hurt alot!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had all three and as far as vaccinations go it does tend to sting more than others!. You need to try and relax, hard I know!. Look away, and concentrate on your breathing!. Breathe in and out to the count of 4 and by the time you've got to about 6 it will all be over!. The only side effects I had or have heard of are sore arms!. After you have the shot massage the area so the medicine spreads out, keep the arm active and use an ice-pack!. If it gets really bad take an over the counter painkiller like advil or panadole!.

I just got my last shot,last week!. Dont worry! It hurts at the injection site and it can swell,but i could move fine,I just couldnt run,but i could walk(i got it on my thigh!.)
When you go,get it in your thigh!!!!!!My friend got it in her arm and she said it hurt like hell!. Your thigh has more fat,so you can feel it less!. You might want a girl doctor though because,i wouldnt want I guy looking at my thighs,since it is so close to!.!.!.!.!.

the needle going in didnt hurt at all for me!. The needle is actually really thin and you cant feel anything until the liquid is actually injected!. you basically jsut feel the pressure of the liquid going in!. The shot itself doesnt hurt that much at all!. But the side effects arent so great!. My arm just went numb a few times or really ached at night!. It only lasts for a day or two but it just feels like youve worked out or something and your arm is sore!. Dont worry about it! itll be fine!Www@Answer-Health@Com
i got all three shots!. i hate needles too and i usually cry when i get them lol!. but when i got the hpv shot it didn't hurt!. it just felt like a pinch and then my muscle was sore!. don't worry about it and it won't hurt!. my problem was that i got myself really worked up about if before i got the shot and it didn't even hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
