You should be proud that you have been able to remain a virgin in the face of so much peer pressure!. Many girls and grown women look back and wish they would have waited longer to lose their virginity for a multitude of reasons!. I would venture that a couple of your friends are jealous because, deep down, they wish they had waited themselves!. Hi!. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a virgin at age 17!. You are right to wait until you are ready and meet someone really special!. I know many well adjusted, attractive, great people who lost their virginity as late as 28! There is no right age to lose your virginity!. You will know when the time is right for you!. I didn't get an "O" till my 21st birthday, with my then boyfriend of 1 year (not the first creep)

I was a virgin until I was 19!. I didn't even really date!. Guys were of no interest to me!. I met this one guy and all of a sudden everything was right!. I was happy all the time, we always had fun together!. I would never talk on the phone much and we had conversations lasting for hours!. Just a suggestion but perhaps it is time to lose those friends, and find new ones who are more supportive of your life choices!. Sorry but there is nothing wrong with being a virgin at 17!
