While it is true that it's normal to have clots during your period, it can also indicate a problem!. If the character of your period changes suddenly, you should see a doctor!. If it's always been that way, and you don't suffer a lot of menstrual pain, then don't worry about it!. If you do suffer a lot of pain, if you have debilitating cramps with heavy clotting (what I used to call "gushers" because tampons wouldn't hold them!), or if these symptoms are accompanied by things like diarrhea or pain when urinating, you definitely need to talk to your doctor about it!. Everybody has those - most of what comes out is the lining of the uterus, which is blood-filled tissue - so lumpier than straight blood!. You only lose about 35ml of actual blood!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Everybody does!. It is the lining of your uterus sloughing off; sometimes it comes out in visible little clumps!. That's what causes the menstrual bleeding, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
