Okay well I am going to the beach tomorrow, and I am KIND of on an irregular period, it's the light brownish kind!. Do you think it would be okay for me to wear a pantyliner/pad, with bikini bottom (old ones don't care if they are stained) and shorts over!? To go into the ocean!? I really want to go! Please help now!

I think you should try and use a tampon!. But if you can't or really don't want to, and you only want to use a pantyliner, don't go in the water!. The water will just make it wet and soggy, and it won't do any good once it is wet, the purpose will be ruined!. its made to soak something up, and if you soak it with water, it will be of no use to you!. It would be fine to go to the beach with a pad, but don't go into the water!. Try the tampon, give it a shot it might not be as bad as you would think, and has its benefits in the end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A 13 year old can wear a tampon, but it isn't a good idea to wear one if you are hardly bleeding- that can cause TSS although it is rare!.
You can't go swimming with a liner in your bikini bottoms, it will get soggy and gross!. Everyone will be able to see it when you get out of the water, assuming it doesn't rip off in the waves!.

You should use a tampon, that is your best bet!.
cus your period usually stops when you are in the water and it will ruin the pad and when you get out you might leak alot!.
cus when i get out of the water and im on my period alot of the blood comes at once so you might not have time to put in another pad on your wet bottoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well if the water is really clear then you HAVE to wear a tampon but if it if kinda dark wear nothing just pantiliners! :o)Www@Answer-Health@Com
