I am looking at all of my contraception options carefully at the moment, and I would like to know about any experiences that you might have had with the abortion pill!? And any extra usefull details would be good!. Thanks in advance :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

abortion pills aren't contraception hun!.!.!.!. birth control is!. I'm hoping u mean u are looking into birth control not abortion!. i have tried several types of BC for a few years and the only one that didn't give me horrible side effects (vomiting, upset stomach, breaking out, insomnia) was ortho-trisprintec!. i have tried ortho-tricycline, mercett and a few other brands and this is the only one i liked!. u just take it at the same time every day with water and after about 4 months of daily use u are protected against pregnancy to a degree!. u can still get pregnant on the pill tho (my friend had twins at 17 to prove it!.!. she used a condom AND was on the pill for 2 years and she still got pregnant) and the pill obv doesn't protect against any STDS!. mine costs $9 a month and i get mine at walmart although u need to see ur gyno or primary care physician first to get a prescription

the choice is urs!.!. i cant tell u what to choose!. i personally do not agree with abortion but u know ur situation better than anyone here and im not going to judge u!. i hope u decide to keep the baby in the end or give it up for adoption but if u dont then good luck and i hope everything works out for u Www@Answer-Health@Com

The abortion pill is not a contraceptive, it is an abortion!. The only difference is that you take a pill at home and basically miscarry in your home rather than having a surgical procedure!. It is dispensed by a doctor after you have a positive pregnancy test and has to be followed up by an exam!. Sometimes a medical abortion (which is what it is called when you take the pill) is not complete and needs to be followed up by a "standard" abortion (a D&C)!.
If you are referring to the "Morning After Pill" (Plan B) that is not an abortion pill, that is an emergency contraceptive to keep you from getting pregnant in the first place if you have unprotected sex or your protection fails!. It has to be taken within a certain window of time after your "accident" to be effective!. It is basically like a big ole' dose of birth control!.

I have two friends who have taken it!. Both of them were violently ill, suffered terrible cramps and felt ill for days afterwards!.
Also there is this to consider: it may work as birth control but it does nothing to protect you from STD's like HIV, Syphilis and Paploma Virus - all of which are fatal diseases or lead to fatal diseases!.

If you're intending to use a good form of contraception (good for you btw) then why do you need to know about abortion pills!? Hopefully it won't come to that!. If you have unprotected sex and worry about pregnancy then take the morning after pill within 72 hours!. If you do it properly, it's something you'll never have to worry about!.

I'm a catholic and I would never say don't have an abortion if that was what was best for you!. Each to their own!. Maybe dont judge people so much next time, not all catholics are narrow minded!. As for the pill, I have never had an abortion!. Do you mean the contracpetive pill!? If so I am on it and it is fine, I have not got pregnant since being on it anyway!.
