Is there any possible harm in using miconazole 3 for a yeast infection when you are pregnant!. When i say harm i mean to the baby!? Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
I would not advise you to use it till you talk to your doctor!. It could not be a yeast infection, there is lots of crazy things that can go on down there infection wise when you are pregnant!. I had a lot of symptoms of a yeast infection when I was pregnant and it was not, it was (crazy as it sounds) a strep infection!. They gave me an antibiotic and it cleared up!.
If you do indeed have a yeast infection, there is a treatment that is safe for the baby that your doc can prescribe you, posibly give you at the clinic!. Hope all goes well for you!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is perfectly safe to use vaginal yeast preparations during pregnancy but a few things to consider!. In pregnancy, you should use a 7 day treatment, not a one day or 3 day!. You do not know for sure if it is yeast without the doctor checking!. I would suggest that you call the doc and let them know what symptoms you are having!. Ask if it would be OK to try an over-the-counter yeast treatment before your next visit and if no change in the symptoms you will come in for a check!. It will not harm the baby thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com
You can use natural methods to clear a yeast infection!. You can use a douche containing 1 tablespoon of white vinegar in a pint of water or insert a tampon soaked in acidophilus yogurt!. You will need to repeat until the infection has gone!. Safer than drugs at any time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
