Coloscopy and biopsy?!
Question: Coloscopy and biopsy!?
i had a coloscopy and biopsy done yesterday on my cervix!. my gyno said he put some sort of scab thing over where the biopsy was done and i shouldn't bleed at all from it!. then last night i a lot of brownish discharge started to come out and there is still a lot today!. is this normal after having that done if he put the scab over where the biopsy was taken!? and if so how much longer can i expect it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, that's totally normal!. I had a colposcopy and biopsy done too and had the same kind of discharge for a couple of days!. The brown discharge is just from the solution the doc puts on to stop the bleeding after the biopsy!. Don't worry, it's normal! By the weekend I would say the discharge should lessen quite a bit!.
