Question: Can taking yourself off of the pill make you not have a period!?
I have been on birth control pills since October of 2004!. 2 months ago I decided to get off of them because I believe I have gained weight while being on them, and I just don't like the way I feel while taking them!. I had a normal period at first, then 2 weeks later I had ANOTHER period, but it was real spotty and only lasted a day or 2!. Well, here I am over a month later and I haven't had a period! What I'm saying is, I am almost a month LATE!. Was wanting to know if any of you have experienced this and if this is a usual side effect!? I took a pregnancy test 3 weeks ago and it said I wasn't!. usually you hav a withdrawel(period due to stopping pill) period straight after stopping them/(a fake period as you havent ovulated) but then your cycle usually gets bk to normall pretty quick!.everyone is different though,if you arnt pregnant,ii doubt its anything to worry about!
