As always the best thing to do is see your doctor for advice!. She/he may suggest you take the 'morning after pill' in order to resolve the unprotected sex issue as it is most probably too soon for your normal contraceptive to be effective!. Your doctor will most likely advise you to continue with your normal pills but you might need to stop them for the day or two around taking the morning after pill so that they don't interfere with its effectiveness!. If you don't take the morning after pill route then your doctor might advise you to use alternative contraception until your next period and then just carry on taking your pills as normal!.

Hope that helps :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you take/start the pill on the first day of your period, contraceptive cover is immediate!. providing you take the pill every day as directed you are covered (even during your withdrawal bleed)!. So providing you have taken as directed you have 98!.8% contraceptive cover!. If however for some reason you think your pregnant, then you must stop taking the pill, take a test to determine and use other protection till you resume the pillWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is too early for a home pregnancy test, so you need to go to your doctor and have them do a blood test, it will be able to tell you if you are pregnant or not!. Continuing on contraception while you are pregnant isn't good for the baby, so it is best to find out as soon as possible!. The blood test is quick (if I remember correctly, same day results) so you will know if you need to stop your taking your pill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you started the pills whilst on your period (days 1-5) then you are protected from pregnancy immediately so carry on the pills!.

When you are prescribed they usually tell you to get them whilst on your period!.

If you weren't on your period then you need to use a condom or other form of contraception for 7 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You've only been on the pill for three days!. If you stop taking them now, you WILL ovulate and you MIGHT get pregnant!.

If you continue taking them, you most likely WON'T ovulate this cycle, in which case there won't be anything to fertilize!.

So it seems like a very simple choice!.

You can't "assume you are pregnant"!. Fertilization is never a sure thing, even when all factors are optimum for pregnancy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you should go get the morning after pill!. It can be taken up to 72 hours after unprotected sex!. If pregnancy is not an option for you then be responsible and go to public health or your doctor!. Also some pharmacies sell is over the counter as long as you are 18 years old!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that you really should ring up your doctor and ask!. I don't know what that contraception is so i cant really say, but if you just ring your doctors and tell them they will point you in the right direction!. You could ring your family planning if you are not comfortable talking to a receptionist at the doctors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you assume that you are pregnant STOP taking them

you stop taking the pill immediately!.
hopefully you had access to the MAP (morning after pill)!.
Go to your doctor and he will test, don't bother with a home bought test; its too early for those!.

good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not being an expert but having a degree of experience I'd say !.!.!.!.

There's no reason to assume you're pregnant and no reason to stop taking them!.!.!.!.!.if you're still concerned then a pregnancy test may come in handy in the near future :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Carry on taking them and then after a few weeks test yourself and if u are pregnant then just stop taking the pill immediately!.I don't think it can harm your baby if you are pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
