my mom had been having chest pain and went to the doctor today and they said there is a possibility it may be lung cancer and they took X-Rays but it will be a week before we get the results i am so worried i love my mom so much and i have no idea what i will do without her!.!. i am only 16 and she is 36 and smokes alot!.!.!. what should i do i cant stop thinking about it much less crying!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

oh im sorry, the doctors found out that my grandpa has a tumor or lung cancer they are not sure but they are gonna cut of half of his lung in september and then do a biopsy on it my mom also smokes and my dad im 13 im so scared for them my grandpa was a smoker but as soon as he left the doctor he quit and hasnt smoke for 2 weeks which is a huge accoplishmentfor someone who has smoke for 40+years and at least 4 a day so anyway he took a stress test and it was bad which makes the operation scarier but anyway i really dont want to scare you do not worry it could be nothing and if it is cancer they probably found it early and will cut it out and do chemotherapy you will need to be with her by her side and always say it will be ok!.dont let hher smoke and if you worry then she has 2 things to worry about and she does not need that hold your head up high i no u cant stop thinking about it and dont think about the things that might be wrong but look on the bright side she is so young and healthy in other places which means if she does hav cancer she has a much better chance of survival than tons of other people so my heart goes out to you and just hope for the best hang out with frends tell tyhem and they will help u get through this trust me sry i rote so much good luck =]Www@Answer-Health@Com
I am severly sorry, really, I am!. My Dad had cancer when I was little and I didnt really know what was going on at that point!. Today he is completely healthy *thank you lord!* and I am so thankful for that!. I know its a hard time for you right now, but you have to look at the glass half full instead of half empty!. She may not have the cancer!.
I am not really that educated about lung cancer in particular but I am going to give you some advice!. If she ends up having the cancer, you two should both go to the Roswell Cancer Hospital!. They specialize in cancer research/treatment and it is one of the top Cancer hospitals in the world!. They will help you!. Trust me!.
She has to kick the habit of smoking NOW because that is what caused this im guessing!.
