Question: Why am I not bothered pyschologically by my lover's "cycles" and "scents"!?
Please don't report this, as I am tired of starting new accounts---I admit some of my questions can be questionable considering a younger crowd can view this!. But here we go:
Why does my lover's meunstral cycle and her scents down there and "back there" not bother me, and if anything make me more attracted to her femininty!? I like how she bleeds where I do not, and I like ALL of her womanly scents and pheromones!. I've tried opening up about this to male friends of mine!.!.!.but they always say, "Ah, dude, you're gross!.!.!.that junk is nasty!.!.!.!.you like how she smells back there and down there!.!.!." In "back there" I literally mean her "behind!." Please don't mock me!. My lover is very attractive and fit and I like her scents!. Am I completely whacked out for digging this in her!? She even likes how my armpits smell when I'm sweaty after a workout!. We're not nudists or a part of any sick cult!. Just a couple of graduate students in college that are open with each other about what really turns one another on!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

The disgust people are supposed to feel at others' bodily secretions is mostly a product of our culture where cleanliness has been equated with decency, morality, health etc!. and where we have been washing ourselves increasingly more often (many people now bathe daily - forty years ago, weekly or less was the norm)!. Scent is a large part of the attraction people feel for each other - if it wasn't, do you think that Unilever would have sold so much aerosol deodorant with ads based on that idea!? Our culture has built a wall of shame around the body - that includes scent!. If you can break through that wall, and be comfortable with your smells and your girlfriend's smells, and any other perceived "imperfections", it just makes your relationship that much more enjoyable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
