Quitting Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo?!

Question: Quitting Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo!?
I want to stop taking OrthoTriCyclen Lo, but I wanted to know if there will be any side effects!. I took another brand of the pill for over 7 years, then last month switched to Ortho, but I have had some terrible side effects: breast tenderness, mood swings, cramping (non-period), depression, fever, etc!. I have an appointment with my gyno, but not till September 8th!. I wanna stop ASAP!. Any advice!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was on the same birth control for 5+ years when I stopped it and did not suffer ill effects!. What you could experience is the change in your hormones since you're not daily ingesting them!.

Try to be really health conscious, eat right, take a good multi-vitamin, drink enough fluids, get enough sleep and it will help ease any ill effects!. If you have more concerns just ask your gyn!.

I found the transition pretty easy (am completely off the pill now after having been on it for!.!.!.doing math!.!.!.11 years!) and feel much better now being off of it!. I had many side effects and feel more natural and healthy, more balanced!. It may take a bit for your cycle to become regular again, it is different from one person to the next!. Mine became 'normal' in just a couple of months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

These are all hormone-related side effects!.You might not be able to bear with any type of birth control method that have hormones!.I suggest using condoms during these couple of weeks until your doctor suggests you a better kind!.

I can't bear with the hormones either, that's why I am going for Paragard,I rather deal with cramping and heavier period for a week than with weight gain, hair loss and whatnot for the entire month!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there are side affects to everything, mostly!. but, all in all it depends on how your body (specifically) handles the changes!. the 'lo' has a lo dose of hormones!.!.!. in which yer body was producing more, therefore resulting in the side affects!. why not just call yer dr, and have her call in a script for the OLD BC you were on, and start that pill pack exactly where you'd be leaving this on off at!.

You can stop taking it!. But it might make you start your period since you are withdrawing the hormones all at once!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To be on the safe side I'd call the nurse to get an ok before stopping them!. But I don't think that there should be a problem!.!.!.you will probably get your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
