Because many years ago they were not bottle!. Times have changed, douche bags at one time looked like little hot water bottles and you would put the vinegar and water into the bag and then screw the top onto the bag, this would look like a long tube with holes in it and when you squeezed the bag the liquid would go into the vaginal cavity!. It's not!. The small disposables are called disposable douches!. A douche bag is either an open topped syringe or a combination hot water bottle & syringe!. These are also found in most pharmacies in the feminine hygiene section!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
