You ovulate about half way through a 28 day cycle!. So, about two week after your period ends is ovulation (when you're more likely to get prego) !. The link I'm posting should expain things!. I hope it helps because it's important to understand what's going on with your body!. No birth control is 100% effective!. I actually got pregnant with my second baby while on the pill and never missed a single one!. Also, even if you trust your bf, your dad is right about condoms!. They protect you from aids and other sexually transmitted diseases!. You don't want to take any chances with your health or your future, right!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Birth control is 98% effective!. Adding a condom will make it closer to nil (but never 100%)!. A condom will protect you from STDs, something the patch and pill can't do!.
If you're using the patch, you shouldn't be ovulating at all!. When you take the patch off is when your hormones drop and you have your period!. If you leave the patch on through when you should be having it, you won't get it!. Don't do this without talking to your doctor though!.
It is possible to ovulate the day before your period!. The body is capable of releasing eggs multiple times in a cycle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

U ovulate approx!. 2 weeks b4 ur period starts - sort of in the middle of ur cycle - u might get cramps or more discharge and that means u r ovulating!. U won't ovulate the day b4 ur period!. Being on birth control will mean that hormones will stop u getting pregnant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you are taking your pills the same time every day you will be at the pills fullest protection!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
