Okay, well im in dance this year in highschool, and soon, maybe in a week, were gonna need to start changing in the locker room!. Our teacher will deduct points if we change in the bathroom stalls!. My question is: okay, well i have to wear pads!. my parents think that tampons are bad and that you will lose your virginity or whatever!. i dont know, i cant change their mind, their really stubborn like that, so im not gonna try AGAIN to change thier mind!. So i wear pads "with wings" so you can see them when i have to change!. I'm a very SELF CONCIOUS person when it comes to that "girl" stuff!. I've just never been very comfortable talking about "lady stuff"!. i dont know!. i mean, im a very open funny weird person that always says whats on my mind, but i just have a problem talking about that!. in the locker rooms, usually, people arent looking at you!. because if someone is staring at girls underwear while they are changing!. they get called a lesbian, so most of the time girls keep their eyes to themselves!. dont act like anything is suspicious, wear a longer t-shirt that day and change fast if you are still self concious!.

Do you wear a specific uniform for dance!? Try wearing your shorts or pants inthe morning to school so you only have to expose yourself once!. Or jsut wear a longer shirt to cover yourself on those days!. Everyone will be feeling the same way so don't worry too much!. Hopefully your locker will be in the back corner :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Be thankful you don't go to the school I went to!. We had mirrored walls and a school full of girls in thongs! You'd look up and see asses everywhere! I'd say maybe try to talk to the tracher!.!. or wear some boy short panties!. I dunno what else you could do!. Talk to your instructor!. They will usually make an exception for girls that are having their periods and let them change in a private area!. Remember she went through this too and probably understands how you feel!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
