Question: I THINK I HAVE MY FIRST YEAST INFECTION AND I AM REALLY SCARED WHAT SHOULD I DO!?
My doctor gave me anti biotics for my UTI, and now a week later, I am feeling in my vagina hole creepy crawling feelings!. Kind of itchy but not too bad, I am very scared because Ive never had one before and I dont know what to do!.
I live with my boyfriend and I want to have sex tonight with him but now I cant!. I am scared what should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since it's obviously your first one and you don't even know if it's really a yeast infection, I suggest going to a gynecologist!. Don't be scared!. They probably won't really do much!. Mine only had to look and figure out I had a yeast infection!. But they will give you a prescription for medication!.
I would not suggest going and getting yeast infection medicine from Walgreen's if you're not sure you really have one!.
I'm pretty sure that vagisil doesn't get rid of a yeast infection!. It only stops itching for a little while!.
Also, don't have sex until you get it taken care of!. That will only cause you and your boyfriend to pass it to eachother back and forth!. Over and over again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is not uncommon to get a yeast infection after taking antibiotics for any reason!. A yeast infection occurs due to an imbalance in your NORMAL flora, as a result of the antibiotics
If the itching/discharge makes you uncomfortable, you could try an over-the-counter yeast infection treatment like Vagisil!. If you are more concerned than that, you should go see your doctor!.
You can have intercourse if you want and you won't hurt anything, but it might not be comfortable for you!. Perhaps it would be best to wait until you are no longer experiencing symptoms of the yeast infection!.

Antibiotics can cause yeast infections!. I usually get a raging one every time I take them!. Especially if I have sex!. It just makes it worse!.

Antibiotics can commonly cause yeast infections because they kill off both good and bad bacteria, making the yeast flourish!. Simply go to the drugstore and get some Monistat!. I recommend the 3 day vs the 1 day!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
