Question: I think im too small!!!!?
im 14 and im about to start year 10 at school but im only a metre and a half tall! some of the kids that are just gonna start year 7 are taller than me! my mum is only 5 foot 1 and a half but my dad is like 6 foot something!. i take after my mum and im almost as tall as her!. have i stopped growing or will i grow taller than her!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 16 and I am 5ft 7"!. I am the smallest out of ALL my mates and I felt ridiculous!. Untill I found something out, my uncles and my dad both had HUGE growth spurts when they were 17 and now they are both 6ft +

but also, guys don't want a tall girl, they like the small girls!. Especially me, I've always gone out with the smaller girls in my classes!.

you dont properly stop growing until you reach 18 or a bit after so i think even though your mum is only small, the fact your dad is 6 foot something makes me think that you wont be as small as your mum and that you should grow a bit taller still!. i wouldnt worry about it, ive just left year 11 and one of my friends is only 5 foot 1 but she wears high heels to make her a bit taller (the school dont like it but she doesnt listen to them lol)!. being small isnt a bad thing, just because you are smaller than a lot of the new year 7 kids it doesnt mean you should hate your height! you sound really insecure about being small but even if you dont grow much in the next few years im sure you will get used to being small and realise that its all part of who you are! sounds a really typical thing to say but once you learn to love your height, other peoples opinions wont matter to you!. i had exactly the opposite problem in that ive always been one of the tallest in my class and i was already as tall as a lot of my teachers in year 8! but now im 5 ft 7 and pretty much average height compared to my friends its just that i had a growth spurt early, and you might just have one later on than most people! its really nothing unusual, i hope this helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com
You'll probably still grow a bit, especially since you're dad is so tall and because you're only 14!. I would expect that you'll eventually be a bit taller than your mom!.

you will grow most girls grow taller than their mothers if your dad is that tall chances are you have a few years left to grow taller!. im going to year 11 and at the beginning of year 10 I was 5 ft 4 now i am 5 ft6!.5 i cant believe i grew a whole 2 inches and a half!. Don't worry, you're not too short!. I've stopped growing now and I'm about 1m60, give or take a centimetre or two!. You still have a couple of years of growing left!. And even if you don't grow to be tall or even average height, as my mum always says, good things come in small packages :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
