Question: Is this true about Mirena IUD!?
I heard someone talking about the Mirena IUD today and she was saying to never get it because it allows you to get pregnant, but then it aborts the baby!. I have never heard that before!. Is it true, or was she just not telling the truth!? Ha!. She was saying her Dr told her that, but!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO IT DOESN'T [not yelling] i got IUD MINERA inserted on 8/26/08 and i haven't even had cramps or spotting but let me tell you something you should wait at least 4-6 weeks after getting minera inserted to see if still there, i'm not saying that is 100% against pregnancy b/c sometimes that hormones can go low allowing the sperm to do his thing, but iud protects you up to 5yrs only abstinence is 100% safeWww@Answer-Health@Com
