Honey, I think Birth Control at your age, isn't a good thing, honestly!. I know you might no tliek to hear that, but yeah!.!.!.!.If I were you, I'd wait until I was 15 to get on Birth Control (that's how old I was when I started taking mine) then, I go toff of it, when I was 18, a month shy of 19, so almost 4 years of being on that, and now, I'm happily Married to the guy of my dreams, andwe've been trying to get pregnant, and it seems liek I can't, now!. So when you do get on birth control, please be very careful and weary of which yo uchose!. I was on Nuva Ring!.!.!.Anyhow, cramps suck, but I get mainly back pain with mine!. I've been having mine sinse I was 12, and I'm 21 now, so yeah!.!.!.!.Back pain is much worse (to me, anyway) but once in a while, I'll ahve cramps!.!.!.!.everything abotu a period sucks, but if I were you, I wouldn't do anything with the birth control!. You still have cramps while on that too!.!.!.!.(atleast, I did, anyway) So yeah!.!.!.!.Anyhow, you might want to take into consiteration, pills, like midol, or some generic brand or something, and laso, putting hot-warm compresses on your belly, when you can!.!.!.!.Take Care Www@Answer-Health@Com
You can get birth control at any age once you have started your periods!. Your Dr can prescribe it or you can go to a clinic to get it!.
If you are having a lot of pain it would be a good idea to get checked out by your doctor before going on the birth control pill to rule out anything like endometriosis!. Birth control will help regulate and lighten your periods!.
It is quite common for girls in their early teens to be prescribed this due to menstruation problems!.

Why don't you skip the estrogen and drink a cup of Red Raspberry Leaf tea every day, or 2-3 cups a day before and during your period!? It's natural, cheap, easy & effective!.
