when i first started i wore pads during gym!. and that is normally enough!. but just in case you might want to go to the restroom after gym or when you get a chance during a basketball game and clean yourself up if you need to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unfortunately, you'll just have to try it with a pad and see how your particular body reacts!. There should be no difference!. It shouldn't increase the flow if you run but no one can say that for 100% sure!. By the way, just because you have only started your period like 3 months ago, that doesn't mean you can't use a tampon!. Try the slender ones by Playtex or other brands!. Buy the lightest absorbency that they sell in the type that you want!. Plastic applicators are best!. Then, if you're still afraid or do find that your flow increases, you can wear the tampon AND a pad and then never have to worry about that!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just use a more absorbant one WITH WINGS!! I ALWAYS wore pads with wings (sticky tabs that keep the pad in place), until I switched to tampons in my 20s!. You might bleed a bit more than usual from all the movement, but you'll only be running or whatever for a couple hours !.!. not like 12 - 24 hours straight, so one pad should be enough!. Just make sure to check it and possibly change it afterwards and you'll be fine!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make sure you use a good pad, because its more likely to leak out when doing sports!. I used a tampon on my third period because i had to wear a swim suit and get in the water, im sure you could use a tampon but its a personal choice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get one with wings!. and once you start using tampons don't get the ones for sports they are EXACTLY the same as the regular ones!. except they are about 2bucks moreWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well

yes you can!.
