Help, is this normal?!

Question: Help, is this normal!?
Okay, I recently got my first period and started using tampons!. They take really long to put in, they hurt when I insert them, they hurt when I have them in, and they KILL when I take them out!. They are the " small lites" kind!?

Is this normal!?!?!?

You should not feel the tampon when it's inserted correctly!. If they hurt when you have them in, you have to push them in deeper!. If the tampon is not fully soaked with blood, it will be harder when you take it out!. So you might have to let it in a bit longer but not too long!. Follow the advice on the instructions!. If you only just started using tampons you may find it easier to use tampons with an applicator!. They are easier to put in and you will push them in far enough so you don't feel them!. Keep practicing, it will get better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with the mirror thing!.

And remember, your vagina isn't straight up and down!. It angles toward your back!.

Keep your fingers on the grip part, and push the tampon up so that your fingers are lightly touching the outside of your vagina!. When you push in the plunger, DO NOT let your fingers move!. If you don't get the absorbant part of the tampon all the way up, it WILL hurt, very badly!.

Also, you might not be leaving the tampon in long enough!. If it hasn't soaked up enough, it hurts really bad pulling it out!.

It might just take a little practice!. I mean, I've been using them for like 13 years!. I'm a pro!. ;)

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

tampons should not hurt when you put them in!. if you feel pain or discomfort, your not putting them in right!. look at the box, or instructions inside and look at them carfully!. cuz i can get a tampon in right away, and i can't even feel it!. but it does kinda hurt when i take them out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it hurts ALOT to have them not far enough in so just keep trying to get them in farther
make sure they are full before you take them out or else it will feel like "SANDPAPER" im not even joking
so have a pad too and once you start leaking a little bit then take it out
practice get you you get them in fasterWww@Answer-Health@Com

That happened to me too the first time i used them!. Most likely you are putting them in wrong, try using a mirror to help guide you!. It took me a few months to really get the hang of it!. It shouldn't hurt at all though, so if its hurting that means it is inserted wrong!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that depends how long you have been using them, and no its not normal, normally it should only hurt the first time you put them in, ask your doctor or mom about itWww@Answer-Health@Com
