Question: Do I have to take the non-active pills for my birth control or can I just throw them away!?
I'm not going on to the new pack, I just don't want to take a pill when it's not going to do anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That chick up there is wrong!. They are merely placebos!. You dont have to take them!. They are "marker" pills to help you keep up with your days!.

The purpose of the placebo pills is that the user can take a pill on every day of her menstrual cycle, remaining in this daily habit even during the week without hormones!. Placebo pills may contain an iron supplement, as iron requirements increase during menstruation!.

Failure to take pills during the placebo week has no effect on the effectiveness of the pill provided that daily ingestion of active pills is resumed at the end of the week!.

It depends on your pill!. I take Yaz so they have some medicine to help with bloating and some other pms meds so my doctor told me to stay on it!. Otherwise they're just there to keep you in the habit so as long as you remember to take your active pills, you're good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Even the non active pills have hormones in them, Take them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
