When you go to put a tampon in, you need to relax!. Take a deep breath and let it out slowly!. Try to relax and not think about the past times when you've been having problems with it!.

Use a smaller absorbency tampon, and make sure it's the kind with an applicator!. Each box of tampons comes with a little instruction sheet!. It will tell you exactly how to put a tampon in correctly so that it doesn't hurt!.

You might try sitting on the toilet with your knees spread as wide as you can, or standing with one foot up on the toilet lid to insert the tampon, that will help to relax those muscles near your vagina and make insertion easier!.

As for taking it out, make sure you're waiting long enough!. If the tampon isn't full of blood, it will hurt because it won't just slide out when you pull the string!. I have my period for about 1 year now and it still hurts me if I pull out a tampon that hasn't been in for long enough!.

Good luck!. You'll get the hang of it!. It's kind of a trial and error process!. You'll be a pro in no time!.

It could be because you need smaller tampons, your too dry, or your not sitting or standing at an angle for easy insertion!. You could try using a little lubricant like KY Jelly or try standing with one leg up on the toilet or side of the bathtub, and RELAX those muscles also!. Practice until you can not feel it once its inserted!. You shouldnt feel it at all if its in correctly!.
Oh yea, and make sure you push it in far enough!. You should push the aplicator all the way in before you push out the cotton part!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might need to stand up or squat down when you put a tampon in!. Some women just can't get it in right if they're sitting down on the toilet when they do it!.

You need to push it in as far as it will go!. Don't worry, it's impossible for it to go in TOO far!. You will always be able to get the string and pull it back out!. Once it's in all the way you won't be able to feel it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Relax!. Try a different position!. Try one foot on the toilet or squatting down!. Try Playtex Sport tampons, they go in easier!. Also wait till your flow is the heaviest and then try!. Oh and if you don't have it in far enough it'll kind of hurt, you'll be able to tell!. (You aren't supposed to feel it)

Hope I helped!

just relax, and when you try to put it in dont go straight up, go in an angle towards your back!. try to squat or stand up with your legs apart,
the key is to relax!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I stand up and put one leg on the toilet so my vagina is "open" more!. it seems easiest for me, i tried just sitting once and it hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a medical condition could cause this!. your uterus could be tilted backwards and lower than normal!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

wait until your flow is super heavy!. the heavier the flow the easier it is to get the tampon in!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
