Answers:
First, I would take the poor kid to the pediatrician!.

Then, I would carefully check anything that touches her skin: bubble bath, lotion, ointment, powder, soap, scented toilet paper, etc!., and try switching to unscented and hypoallergenic brands of everything!. I would also switch the laundry detergent and fabric softener that her underwear is washed in, and give the underwear a second rinse with a little vinegar to remove any remaining detergent residue!. Should be cotton underwear, too, not synthetic!.

Then, I'd make sure she knows how to wipe herself after going to the bathroom -- from front to back, not back to front!.

Finally, little kids of both sexes are fascinated by their private parts -- that's totally normal -- and left to their own devices, will touch their crotches without any inhibition!. Without punishing her in any way, I'd gently teach this little girl that she should wash her hands before touching her vagina with her bare fingers!.

BTW, when I was a preschooler, I used to get vaginitis/urethritis frequently!. I didn't know what it was called, but I knew that it hurt when I tinkled! My mom finally figured out that I was sensitive to my bubble bath!. (It was "Mr!. Bubble", but this was back in the 60s, so they've probably reformulated it by now)!. Thereafter, instead of bubble bath, she poured a little baby shampoo into the bathtub to make bubbles!. Fun for me and no more ouch!. :)

All kinds of things can cause this, from yeast infections to masturbation!. It is common for children of that age to masturbate and even at the age of five her vagina will produce lubrication if she is sexually stimulated!. It is also common for them to get various vaginal infections!. Take her to a doctor if she seems to have any itching, difficulty urinating, or if the discharge gets worse or changes in color or consistency!.

It is not necessarily prudent to assume that she is being sexually abused since masturbation is common at this age; however it's better safe than sorry, so I'd think carefully about who she has contact with and check her for other signs of possible sexual abuse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its probably caused by antibiotics or bad hygiene!. Take her to the doctor!.!.!.!.!.!.

I might be way off but make sure no none is abusing the little girl sexually!. You never know with the world nowadays I have heard of cases like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
