I want to start on birth control but i want one that doesnt make me gain that much weight i heard that the shot make you gain a lot of weight!. People tell me that i should go for the IUD!? what do you think i dont want to gain weight since im already on the chubby side trying to loose my baby fat!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The IUD is the surgically implanted 'T' thing right!? I'm sure that is probably the closest to best you can get!. Since it is surgically placed in your body it is less likely to fall out or move, and you wouldn't need to worry abou taking a pill everyday!. However, it all depends on what you want, and works best for YOU!. Birth control pills and the shots depend on your body, so some people will say they gained wieght and some will lose!. "Best" is different for everyone!. Please do not get the shot, not only does it cause weight gain but a majority of women suffer some very serious health issues while on and after the shot!.

I agree with terri and emu!. abstinence b/c then you won't risk getting an STD, HPV, AIDS, etc!. Is it really worth 2 minutes of sheer bliss compared to a life time with a life altering even threatening disease!?
