I came off the mini pill (cerazette) at the end of July and haven't used any other form of contraception since!. I havent had any bleeding/periods since then!. How long does it normally take to start having periods again after coming off this pill!? Could it just be that its not out of my system yet!? I have done a pregnancy test today which says negative, but is it too early to tell (a month ago), would it not show up on a preg test yet!? I have had intercourse since i came off the pill and am concerned about not having a period yet, what could this be!? Is it normal to not bleed for a while after coming off the mini pill!?!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its quite normal not to have a period straight away it could take 6- 12 months for it to totally get out of ur system, I was on the pill and came off it in august 07 and i didnt have a period at all so in july i went back on the pill as things didnt work out with my boyf!.
I wouldnt worry about it but if after 6 months still nothin has happened then just got to the docs for a check up and see if everything is ok especially if u are tryin for a baby!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
