Question: Can you get cancer at 19!?
I'm 19 and for the past week my right tonsil got a lot bigger than the left one!. (I think it's my tonsil!? It's those bumps you can feel on the side of your neck when you lift your chin up) And my sinuses on the right side of my nose area are draining!. My throat hurts, only on the right side!. Yes you can get cancer at any age, but don't jump to conclusions!. Stressing yourself out at this point will only make you feel worse!. Those 'bumps" you refered to are lymph nodes and will swell up sometimes when your body tries to fight off an infection!. If it doesn't clear up soon or shows any sign of getting worse you should have it checked by a doctor!. The doctor will most likely just prescribe some antibiotics!.

it is possible to have cancer that young, but HIGHLY unlikely!. so don't freak out!.
first of it it may not be your tonsils!. it could be other glands in your throat/neck that's swollen!. if that's the case you probably just got a little infection in there!.!.nothing to worry about, it will clear up on its own in a few days, if you want to you can gargle and rinse your mouth with some warm salty water twice a day!.!.it can help kill infection in there!.
if after a week you're feeling the same or even worse then it could be something like tonsilitis or some other infection!.!.!.for which you should go to the doc cause they may remove your tonsils or put you on some antibiotics to clear it up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can get cancer at any age!. Some children are born with cancer, however, I don't think you have cancer!. I had have that, I have taken listerine with lemon and wash my mouth and sometime it goes away!. But if you are concern about, to be in peace go to see a doctor, I would be more concern about the bump in the side of your neck!. How long had you have it!? I don't think you have cancer!. Possible but not probable, it's probably just a minor infection, maybe a cold, ear infection etc!. Go see a Dr!. to be sure!. Relax I doubt you have cancer!. Those bumps in your neck are lymph nodes and they swell when they are fighting an infection, but pressing on them all the time to check will also inflame them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
