How did having a baby change your body? ?!

Question: How did having a baby change your body!? !?
Mu husband and I want kids badly!. Just curious, what are some of the things that change about your body when you have kids!? I'm fairly worried about the effects it will have on my body, selfish I know, but I've always tried to take good care of myself!. I'm scared of putting on weight and not being the same shape :( I know I sound prissy lol!. Anything you feel like sharing about your own experiences is welcome and appreciated!. Thanks in advance :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Here's the simple answer: it WILL change your body!. But the fact is, your body will change due to wear and tear and time anyway, so you might as well let it change having kids!.

(The same goes for boobs! Breastfeeding may make them droopy, but so will age, so you may as well do what's best for baby!. And breastfeeding burns 500-700 calories a day, so it's the best way to get back in shape!)

Genetics has a lot to do with it - I don't have a single stretch mark, but my hips are wider!. My stomach is almost flat again, but my breasts aren't what they were!.!.!.

You do need to gain 20-30 pounds while you're pregnant, and it's not easy to take it back off, but you CAN lose the weight!. You may have a little extra skin on your tummy or some cellulite, no matter how thin you are!.

Finally, it's great to be active WITH your kids - bike rides, walks, wrestling, etc!. You'll get your strength back after you recover from delivery, then you'll have a little cutie to stare at as you jog (I highly recommend a great jogging stroller - mine's BabyTrends)!.

One thing to remember is that as you start having kids, you'll start hanging our with more people who have kids!. Your girlfriends will groan about their stretch marks or boobs, and it'll make you feel a lot better!. You'll concentrate more on your kids and less on your body!. Trust me on that one!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Putting on weight totally depends on you if you eat a bunch of milkshakes and cheeseburgers and cake then yes you are going to put tons of weight on but if you watch what you eat and eat healthy you will not gain too much and if you work at it you can lose it all after the baby is born!. I've seen some women in better shape after having a baby, but that's only because they worked at it!. Of course your body is going to change and it's hard to say because everyone's changes in different ways!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am in the same boat as you!!! My hub and I are thinking about trying for kids and I am terrified of not being able to lose weight! So while I don't have an answer for you, I am going to wait around to see what everyone says (I am very fit and work out regularly)!. I know it sounds vain but am SO glad there is someone else I can relate to!!!!!
