ok so this same thing just happened to me in july and i was freakin out too!!! my obgyn is awesome and explained everything!.!.there is mildly abnormal paps to severely abnormal then theres cervical cancer!. a mildly abnormal is so super far from cancer so dont worry!. my doc said it is hpv and most women get in sometime in there life!. she also said a lot of women dont even know they have it cause ur immune system fights it off b4 its detected!.!.i also had a colposcopy (which by the way was nothing and didnt even hurt like i thought it would)!. my test came back ok and i just have to do follow up paps every 6 months till i have 2 normal in a row!.!.!.!.im sure ur fine!. dont worryWww@Answer-Health@Com

Go for the colposcopy!. The doc will see the cells using a magnifier!. A biopsy will also be done on any suspicious looking tissues!. It was like that for me!. The results of the biopsy showed hpv and i was to use a particular cream for sometime!. It solved the problem and my doc assured me that everything is and will be OK!. So don't fret yourself!. Go with your doctor's advice!. take one step at a time!. Worry only when you know you should!. Otherwise just deal with the situation as it comes!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
