What happens when someone doesn't go #2 for weeks at a time?!

Question: What happens when someone doesn't go #2 for weeks at a time!?
I have a friend who takes massive quantities of Imodium to keep herself from having bowel movements!. I can't explain it she has this thing about going #2!. Anyway, She will go weeks without having a bowel movement!. I am trying to convince her that it is not ok to have feces sitting in your intestines for that long!. She told me she cannot find anything online that states it is a problem!. Could someone please tell me the long term effects of not going #2 and taking that much Imodium!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

to be blunt, you can die!. if the waste is not leaving your body, then you ve got big problems!. she will get chronic constipation and trapped wind!. she has probably had pain before too!?
If she carries on this way, she may collapse, then drs will attach a colon bag to her and she wont like that!

i read about a woman once, who was severly constipated and ended up throwing the faeces up out of her mouth! because the waste was so desperate to get out!.

she MUST go to the loo - are bodies are meant to! speak to her about why she doesnt want to, and encourage her to! please!

it goes back into your blood stream, you can actually end up throwing up bits of fecal matter, it will make your breath stink, you can die, will make your teeth hygiene bad like deteriorate ect also it can build up and you'd have to have surgery or you might have problems for the rest of your lifeWww@Answer-Health@Com

That isnt good for her! PLEASE convince her to go #2 because my mom is a nurse and she said that if you dont go #2 you might have to get a tube inside you that connects to a bag where the "poop" emptys out to!. In some other cases my mom told me that people can die because of not going #2!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

chronic constipation, she'll have a part of her colon removed and the doctor will attach a little bag on the side of her body so the feces can be removed!.
she needs to stopWww@Answer-Health@Com
