I don't know that I have them, but I have a feeling I do!. I have kind of a dull and sometimes stabbing pain in my ovary (on both sides) pretty regularly!. This has been going on for a while now and I just dismissed it as part of my period!. It is usually achy during my period or right after!. It's nothing to make me stop in my tracks and scream or anything, but it is definitely annoying!.!.!.!.
And now Im worried that I won't be able to have kids!. =(

Every woman develops an ovarian cyst at least monthly- you just don't think of ovulation that way!. The ovary responsible for ovulation each month produces a mature egg inside a cyst, which ruptures to release it into the fallopian tubes!. Some months you can ovulate from both sides, although it's more common to swap sides each month!. You could be experiencing normal period pains from uterine contractions, ovulation pain, or just the usual irritated guts that can happen!. Poly-cystic ovaries don't just ache, it's not something you can ignore as a rule, and it tends to happen all through the month!. The only way you can really know what's going on though, is to have a full examination by a gynecologist!. A quick ultrasound will show if you actually have PCOS or not!. Even if you do, it can be helped in most cases and you can still get pregnant!. They normally use birth control pills to suppress ovulation until you are ready for motherhood, which preserves the ovaries!. In the meantime I wouldn't worry too much about your chances!. You aren't really describing anything that would make me suspect there is a problem, honestly!. But go see the gynecologist and set your mind at ease!. yeah get it checked out!. diet will make them worse!. go eat a hot pepper or somthing spicey!. if your ovarian cyst kills you after that then you know you have one!.

that happenes to me all the time and i havnt had my period for a very long time so its probably just the ovaries maturing because its all normalWww@Answer-Health@Com
