ok i am 13 almost 14 and i haven't started my periods yet!. i am far along in puberty otherwise but have not started periods!. is there something wrong with me!? i have a 12 year old friend her doctor said she would start sometime this year! i would hate if she became a "woman" before me!. how old were you when you started!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

There us definitely nothing wrong with you!. Every girl starts at a different time!. My friends mom didnt start until she was 17!. I consider you lucky, you do not want your period!. Yes you would become a woman but it still stinks!. About your friend "beating" you, there is no way to speed it up so unfourtuneately you are going to have to wait!. I was 12 when I started but I consider myself unlucky!. I HATE IT

I was 12 when I started, but some women don't start until really late-- even 18 sometimes!. Some start at 8 or 9!.
I wouldn't start worrying about it if I were you!. Your body will decide when it wants to start your period!. Until then just enjoy yourself and be happy with the way you are now!. It'll come when it comes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I didn't get my period until the 9th grade! After you get it, you wonder why you were in such a hurry! You sound so mature already!. Don't worry!.!.!.!.when your body is ready it will happen!. Medically I don't think a dr!. would start worrying about it until your like 16 or 17!. I have 3 daughters and these are the ages they first got theirs: 13, 14, 14!.

Hey, I JUST started mines today, well last night but i didnt kno what was going on, I just thought I had wiped 2 hard or cut my self some how (silly me) anyways I sent my mom a text at lunchtime so thats it!.!.o and im 14, freshmen, yeah im late lol so dnt worry if ur almost 14!Www@Answer-Health@Com
