Can you get paid by the Govt. to care for a disabled relative?!

Question: Can you get paid by the Govt!. to care for a disabled relative!?
I am the primary caregiver of two disabled family members!. One is on medicare, the other on permanent disability!. I have been told that I should "look into" getting paid for caring for them!. I am not able to work outside the home due to these responsibilities!. Who do I ask!? What agency!? I asked this question before but I didn't get much of a response!. Thought I would try again in the health section!. Does anyone know anything about this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
What you heard is true!. I don't know what state you live in but every state has it's own limitations and qualifications to be paid to take care of the disabled!. I know in Minnesota you just have to call your local county and talk to someone there like the disabled persons social worker!. Have you tried to contact their social worker or anything from the county or state!. Give that a try and that should get the ball rolling! Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, maybe at your local social security office!. Google it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
