I know your problem, I also got my period 2 years ago and it was never regular!. So I went to the doctor and she gave me birth controls but the funny thing is that my period started regulating and I didn't even start take any birth controls at all lol!. I was kind of happy that I didn't use them because it felt kind of awkward!. The best you can do is go to the doctor(it might be bit embrassing but she might fix the problem and you won't have to worry anymore because trust me, I worried a lot if it came and I might of not be prepared) or you can just wait a little bit longer to see if it starts regulating just like me before thinking of going to the doctor!.

in the medical ward, we have seen such cases ,many were finally caused by infections like STIs and a few others had no cause!. the advice is usually to do a vagina swab to check the neatness pf that enviroment and screen for infections, and if you had no sexual activity, then relax it will normalize with time!.

I few other cases, patients have come back to report that their period finally normalised after some sexual intercourse, while this could be explained medically, it is not yet a standard in clinical practice!.

I was never regular either, and it was really annoying, so I went on birth control when I was 18!. It's usually a good idea to try and find out why you aren't having regular periods first, because birth control doesn't fix the underlying problem, just masks it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
