Question: Getting your Period during School!?
If I got my period before school and I wanted to wear a tampon all day, I know I probably shouldn't because you're not supposed to wear it for more than four hours!. The thing is, I would never have time to change it because we are so rushed in school - even our lunch is short now! I don't want to wear pads, but it takes me like a minute or two to get the tampon in, and at my school we have three minutes to switch classes, and for lunch the good food is always gone if you're at the end of the line!. Maybe you can ask to go to the toilet during class in the middle of the day, that way you have only warn the tampon for 4 hours instead of 6/7!. I hope that helpd :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Is your flow actually heavy!? If it is, you can use a super absorbency kind of tampon, and you may be able to leave that in longer, but do not use it if your flow is not actually heavy, it will put you at risk for TSS!.
