Just started periods?!
Question: Just started periods!?
heyyaa i'm 14 and i've just started my periods and i jst have a few questions! i've had 2 lots of you know what i mean haha and they last for about 7 days but only 3 of those days the periods are red all the rest are brown,my mam said its normal tho!. and my periods don't like go in the toilet just my knickers there not liquidy more gooey does this mean that i'm just a light flow!? xWww@Answer-Health@Com

hiya caitlin, it normal and it will get heavy as you get older!.when you get pain full periods,which a lot of girls do,ask your mum to buy you primrose oil from the chemist!.its very good and it easy the pain alot!.all my girls use it!.they have nearly a pain free period!.you might be one of the lucky girls who does not get pain!.good luck!.xxWww@Answer-Health@Com
yes, this is normal! because you have only just started, thats why its more gooey and brown!. it doesnt necessarily mean you will be light flow, its just because you havent had many!.
as the months go on, you will go to heavier,red blood definitely!.

It sounds perfectly normal to me!. When your period is ending it can become more brown than red!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
