Hey all !.!.First off i know i am not pregnant !.!. my period is late i feel quite rough to be honest, but i also have an Under Active Thyroid too, can this mess my periods up Does anyone know anything about this and period problems !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes an under-active thyroid does affect periods!. I no longer have a thyroid but if my thyroxine levels are low everything gets messed up from my periods , I get very tired, I put on weight and my skin goes horrible!. If I was you I would make an appointment to see your GP so they can check your thyroid levels and if needed they could put you on a low level thyroxine medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
dear ,yep it can effects it i have under active thyroid too and its rough ,sometimes you should check your medications and hormons *it could be the reasons ans if you are sure you arent having a small baby in your utress then you should see if you are under stress*i know you are*but the level of the stress effects periods

Yes the under active thyroid can cause the problems with your period and make you feel just off!.!.!.You should really consider going to dr to have your thyroid checked again and put on meds if needed!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
